I’m George, I’ve taught hundreds of beginner students yoga. I know exactly how to teach to your specific needs, so it doesn’t matter if you’re not flexible or have a weak upper body.

My teaching style focuses on increasing bodily awareness and developing fundamental movement patterns. While these may sound like buzzwords to beginners, but cannot be underestimated. Through loosening up the hips, ankles, and spine etc. and incorporating coordination and athleticism, many of my clients have been able to achieve physical feats they never thought possible when they started.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will I lose fat/weight doing yoga?

You will be building muscle and burning calories doing yoga. But it is ultimately your diet that dictates your weight. However, I can coach you through that too!

What muscles does yoga work?

Yoga works all your muscles, but in particular core muscles, arm muscles and all the little ones that you’ve never used before until I teach you how to move properly.

What if I'm a complete beginner?

I have taught so many beginners with so many limiting beliefs of what they are capable of. If you are a beginner please work with me, I would love to get you sorted!

Do i need to buy equipment?

George can provide all the equipment needed until you feel you’re ready to buy your own.

What if i have an existing medical condition?

Any conditions or ailments can be supported with a yoga practice. Yoga is amazing for rehabilitation. I have been able to cure some of my clients’ aches and pain improving stability and flexibility.

Can i do yoga if I'm not very flexible?

I was inflexible once too, and most people who start have concerns about not being flexible enough. With one-to-one sessions we can adapt the class to fit your body’s limitations and gradually increase the difficulty as you improve.

How does yoga with personal training work?

Simple. Somedays we’ll do yoga and others we’ll do fitness. We’ll mix them together so they complement one another and assist all areas of your health.
